Terms of Service

Last updated: Jul 27, 2026

Important note

These Terms are provided as a template and are not legal advice. You should tailor them to your business and consult legal counsel.

Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using LightRail (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

What the Service is

LightRail is a non-custodial interface. It surfaces routes offered by third-party aggregators, bridges, decentralized exchanges and protocols, and helps you construct transactions. It does not take custody of your assets, does not execute transactions on your behalf, and does not hold balances for you. Every state-changing action is a transaction you sign from your own wallet.

Using the Service

  • You are responsible for your use of the Service and for every transaction you sign.
  • You must comply with applicable laws, including those of your own jurisdiction.
  • You may not attempt to disrupt, abuse, or reverse engineer the Service or its infrastructure, or use it to launder funds or evade sanctions.

Wallets and blockchain transactions

Connecting a wallet and interacting with blockchain networks is inherent to the Service. Transactions are generally irreversible, incur network fees, and may fail or return less than quoted because of slippage, congestion, or conditions changing between quote and execution. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your wallet, its keys, and every approval you grant.

Third-party protocols and routes

Quotes, routes, and liquidity come from third parties. We do not control, audit, endorse, or guarantee those protocols, their smart contracts, or the tokens they list. A route appearing in the Service is not a recommendation, and token listings are not a statement about a token's legitimacy or value.

No financial advice

Nothing in the Service is investment, financial, tax, or legal advice. Quotes, charts, yields and projections are informational, may be inaccurate or stale, and should not be relied on as the sole basis for a decision. Digital assets are volatile and you can lose everything you commit.

Fees

The Service may add a fee to some routes, or receive a referral share from an integrated aggregator. Where a fee applies it is reflected in the quote you see before you sign. Network gas fees are separate and are paid to validators, not to us.

Beta software

LightRail is beta software under active development. Features may change or be removed, and some surfaces — including the advanced intent and sealed-bid auction layer — are explicitly experimental and not production-hardened.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LightRail will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of funds, profits, or revenues arising from your use of the Service or of any third-party protocol reached through it.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
